NOMAD UTILITIES

Editorial methodology

How Nomad Utilities researches, normalizes, evaluates and updates comparison information.

Source hierarchy

We prioritize regulators, standards bodies, official manufacturer manuals, official provider terms and current pricing pages. Public user reports are treated as anecdotal signals, never factual specifications.

Pricing and normalization

Prices are dated observations. eSIM price per gigabyte divides normalized USD price by fixed data allowance and excludes unlimited-style plans. Mailbox annual cost adds subscription, scanning, forwarding, postage, storage, recipients and address surcharges. Portable-power runtime uses measured watts and an 80–90% usable-energy range.

Limitations and recommendations

A limitation can outweigh a feature when it affects eligibility, safety, compatibility or the main use case. Recommendations are conditional rather than universal.

Commercial separation

Affiliate availability does not determine inclusion, rankings or limitations. Placeholder direct links remain non-affiliate until a program is approved.

Updates and corrections

High-volatility records receive shorter review intervals. Corrections are logged, source changes are reviewed, and stale observations remain dated rather than silently presented as current.
